If your Dubai itinerary includes a coffee crawl, October 2026 is a good month for it. Eight new coffee shops in Dubai have opened or been announced this year: four are pouring, in Al Safa, Jumeirah 1, Al Quoz and BurJuman, and four more are confirmed but not yet open. This guide separates the two groups so you know where you can sit down today and which ones to watch.
Below, every entry in this roundup of new coffee shops in Dubai carries its status, its area and one deciding detail that tells you whether it is your kind of place. For the long-standing favourites that never left the map, see our best coffee shops in Dubai guide. Status checked on Tuesday 13 October 2026.
| Café | Area | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Cherry House | Al Safa 1 | Open since 18 May 2026 |
| ONA Coffee | Jumeirah 1 | Open since May 2026 |
| Kairos Coffee Assembly | Al Quoz Creative Zone | Open since Aug 2026 |
| Blue Tokai | BurJuman Mall | Open since July 2026 |
| Le Café LPM | Jumeirah, Across H by Huna | Opens 23 October 2026 |
| Café Kira | Jumeirah, Across H by Huna | Announced, date TBA |
| ABC Coffee Roasters | Al Khawaneej | Announced, date TBA |
| Watchhouse | DIFC and First Avenue Mall | Announced, dates TBA |
Cherry House opened on 18 May 2026 on 22A Street in Al Safa 1, and it is the most destination-like of the new coffee shops in Dubai. Emirati entrepreneur Mohamed Matar Al Koas Al Falasi, also behind Saddle and Feels, built an artisanal bakery, an in-house roastery and an all-day café under one roof. The deciding detail: freshly roasted beans travel overhead through transparent pipes from the Loring roaster to the bar, so you watch the whole journey while you wait. Six single origins are on the menu, from Colombia and Ethiopia to Costa Rica and Panama, and the bakery proofs its sourdough for up to 48 hours.

ONA Coffee opened its first international outpost in Jumeirah 1 in May 2026. The Canberra brand was founded by Sasa Šestić, the 2015 World Barista Champion, and it sources through direct relationships with more than 200 producers across 14 origins, including its own farm in Honduras. The deciding detail: the Dubai space has a dedicated sensory room for tastings, plus a private events space and an outdoor terrace, so it suits sit-down meetings as much as quick coffee runs. The all-day menu runs from breakfast to dinner. Check current hours on ONA Coffee’s official website.

Kairos Coffee Assembly opened in August 2026 in the Al Quoz Creative Zone. Founder Shiraz Sarwar runs the UAE’s first Bellwether Shop Roaster in full view of the room, and the space is deliberately unhurried: a minimalist wabi-sabi interior with a two-metre communal stone table at its centre. The deciding detail: every dish is made on site in small batches, from the signature Twice-Baked Cashew Nut to a Beef Short Rib Bowl. Order a single-origin V60 and give the morning the time it asks for.

Blue Tokai opened its first UAE café at BurJuman Mall in July 2026, the first step into the Gulf through a partnership with Ambrosia Foods. The India-born brand runs more than 250 cafés at home and buys directly from over 80 Indian coffee farms. The deciding detail: the Dubai menu is built around single-estate Indian coffees you can compare across several brewing methods, with fresh food and bakes alongside. More than 10 GCC cafés are planned to follow, according to the brand. Blue Tokai’s official website lists its current locations.
These four new cafes in Dubai are confirmed but not yet pouring. They stay in this section, not the one above, until their doors are actually open.
Le Café LPM opens on 23 October 2026 at Across H by Huna in Jumeirah, the first all-day café from the team behind LPM in DIFC. Confirmed hours are 7.30am to 12.30am daily, moving from morning tartines and a pâtisserie counter to steak frites and evening drinks. The deciding detail: this is the first time the brand has served breakfast, and the licensed café is built for repeat visits, from morning coffee to aperitivo. Opening-week plans can shift, so check lecafelpm.com before you go.
Café Kira is confirmed for the same Across H by Huna development in Jumeirah, but no opening date has been set; the brand says later in 2026. It comes from AlphaMind Group, the team behind KIRA at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, Café du Port and Sutēki. The deciding detail: a more casual take on KIRA’s Mediterranean-Japanese cooking, with fresh breads and pastries in the morning, a spacious outdoor terrace and an evening menu. Wait for the opening announcement before planning a visit.
Moscow-founded ABC Coffee Roasters has confirmed a new Dubai café in Al Khawaneej through on-site signage, but no launch date has been announced. Expect the brand’s minimalist Scandinavian look with specialty espresso and seasonal drinks. The deciding detail: Al Khawaneej has few specialty roasters, so this would be a genuine addition to the area’s café map rather than another Jumeirah copy. Watch their social channels for the opening date.
London’s Watchhouse has confirmed two more Dubai branches, in DIFC and First Avenue Mall, with dates still to be announced. Its first Dubai café at Marsa Boulevard opened in late 2025, so these are 2026 expansions rather than a debut. The deciding detail: beans from Costa Rica and Colombia, and a rollout run by Big Belly Hospitality, which points to the same polished, work-friendly format as the original.
The coffee shops opened in Dubai this year cluster neatly, and the pattern says something about where the Dubai coffee scene is heading. To visit the new coffee shops in Dubai that are already open, start Saturday morning in Jumeirah: ONA Coffee is pouring now, and when Le Café LPM and Café Kira follow at Across H by Huna, all three will sit within one short stretch of the same neighbourhood. Pair them with our best breakfast places in Dubai shortlists, or start the day at Maison Mathis for a Belgian-style breakfast on Al Wasl Road on the way. Spend Sunday in Al Quoz for Kairos, then head to BurJuman for Blue Tokai. If you are still planning the trip itself, our Dubai travel guide covers the practical basics.
Which new coffee shops in Dubai are open right now? Four new coffee shops in Dubai are open as of this week: Cherry House (18 May 2026), ONA Coffee (May 2026), Blue Tokai (July 2026) and Kairos Coffee Assembly (August 2026). All four were verified as open from this month’s coverage.
Which new coffee shops in Dubai are opening next? Of the announced new coffee shops in Dubai, Le Café LPM opens first, on 23 October 2026 at Across H by Huna in Jumeirah. Café Kira, ABC Coffee Roasters and Watchhouse are confirmed, but none has a firm date yet.
Where are most of the new openings? Jumeirah and Al Wasl Road hold most of the new coffee shops in Dubai from this year’s wave: ONA plus the two upcoming Across H by Huna cafés, and Al Quoz has Kairos. Cherry House sits in Al Safa 1 near Sheikh Zayed Road, and Blue Tokai is inside BurJuman Mall.
Are any good for working from? Of these new coffee shops in Dubai, Blue Tokai was designed as an all-day space for work and meetings, and ONA’s terrace and events space suit longer stays. Confirm laptop and WiFi policy on the day, since these details change.
