Maison Mathis Dubai has two locations to consider: Arabian Ranches Golf Club and voco Dubai The Palm. Both serve European food with Belgian influences, but choosing between them affects your journey, breakfast plans and dining budget.
I would start with the branch that fits the rest of the day, then compare the menu and seating. A familiar restaurant name does not mean identical prices, service hours or promotions at every location.
This guide brings those details together, including sample meal costs and the questions worth asking before booking. If you are still comparing morning options, explore my best breakfast places in Dubai guide.
I would choose Arabian Ranches for its golf-course setting and terrace views, especially when the restaurant is the main reason for the outing. The Palm branch suits a meal alongside a walk on the Palm West Beach promenade. Compare the setting as well as the journey.
| Branch | Location | Restaurant phone |
|---|---|---|
| Arabian Ranches | Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road | +971 4 450 1313 |
| voco Dubai The Palm | Ground floor, voco Dubai The Palm, Palm West Beach | +971 4 249 5502 |
The brand’s website also lists Emaar South and Pullman JLT as “Opening Soon” on 25 September 2026. This guide covers Arabian Ranches and the Palm; it does not treat the announced locations as open.
For Arabian Ranches, use the official restaurant website to find its menus and reservation link. Save the full branch name with your booking so everyone in your group arrives at the same place.
For a visitor staying on the Palm, I would compare the convenience of eating locally against making a separate trip to Arabian Ranches. A small difference in food prices may matter less than the return journey.
If you are planning accommodation alongside restaurants, my where to stay in Dubai guide explains how different areas suit different trips.
These are the venue hours published on each branch’s own website:
| Branch | Days | Published opening hours |
|---|---|---|
| Arabian Ranches | Daily | 8am–1am |
| voco Dubai The Palm | Sunday–Thursday | 7am–midnight |
| voco Dubai The Palm | Friday–Saturday | 7am–1am |
Opening hours and breakfast service are different. The IHG dining page lists Palm breakfast from 7am to 11am daily.
A current breakfast cut-off for Arabian Ranches was not confirmed in the primary pages checked. If you want eggs or waffles later in the day, ask when that particular menu finishes before travelling.
There is also a discrepancy between the Palm branch’s own closing time and the sister-location information on the Arabian Ranches website. The table above follows the dedicated branch pages.
For a late dinner, ask about kitchen last orders as well as the restaurant’s closing time. A venue remaining open does not mean its full food menu remains available.
The Maison Mathis breakfast menus include eggs, sourdough dishes, cooked breakfasts and sweet options. Both locations describe baking bread on site. I would consider eggs and sourdough for a savoury breakfast, or Belgian waffles when something sweet appeals. The table compares published breakfast prices.
| Breakfast item | Arabian Ranches | Palm Jumeirah |
|---|---|---|
| Two eggs with sourdough toast | AED 26 | AED 32 |
| Sourdough avocado | AED 69 | AED 65 |
| Vegan breakfast | AED 75 | AED 69 |
| Belgian chocolate waffle | AED 49 | AED 42 |
| Latte | AED 26 | AED 26 |
The Arabian Ranches breakfast menu provides the full choices for that location. The Palm branch publishes its own menu, so check that version when ordering there.
I would choose the main dish first, then add the drink and any extras. An egg addition, extra coffee shot or milk substitution can change the total. The Palm menu, for example, lists a non-dairy milk substitution at AED 6.
The Maison Mathis lunch and dinner menus list different prices for several similarly named dishes:
| Dish | Arabian Ranches | Palm Jumeirah |
|---|---|---|
| M/M Chicken Burger | AED 79 | AED 85 |
| Margarita pizza | AED 65 | AED 75 |
| Classic Belgian beef stew and fries | AED 145 | AED 140 |
Both burger sections include Belgian fries. Compare the complete dish and its accompaniments when deciding what to order. The Palm’s AED 139 weekday lunch is a separate two-course offer, rather than the price of a regular main.
At Arabian Ranches, sandwiches and toasts are listed until 5pm, while pizzas are available from noon. Choose an arrival time that suits the food everyone wants.
The Palm’s sourdough avocado is AED 65 on its breakfast menu and AED 69 on its lunch menu. The breakfast budget below uses the breakfast price.
For a straightforward breakfast, avocado sourdough and a latte total AED 95 at Arabian Ranches or AED 91 at the Palm. Two identical orders total AED 190 or AED 182 respectively.
These are calculations from listed items, not set menus or minimum spends. The breakfast menus state that municipality charge, service charge and VAT are included in their displayed prices.
Allow separately for additions and transport. When comparing a dining package, check whether it includes the drink you would otherwise purchase. Delivery-app totals should be assessed separately because their fees, offers and available items can differ.
Published offers at Arabian Ranches include:
The pizza promotion is specifically described as takeaway. Check which pizzas qualify when ordering.
The official Palm restaurant website lists a weekday two-course lunch at AED 139, Monday–Friday from noon to 3pm, including still water and one soft drink.
Its Saturday brunch runs from 1:30pm to 5pm, with the following packages:
| Brunch package | Published price |
|---|---|
| Soft package | AED 199 |
| House package | AED 249 |
| Premium package | AED 449 |
| Children aged 6–12 | AED 50 |
The children’s package includes one main and one dessert from the kids’ menu. Confirm arrangements for younger children directly.
The Palm also advertises a Sunday roast with a soft drink for AED 129, from 1pm to 9pm, and daily happy hour from 4pm to 7pm.
Before booking, confirm the offer for your chosen date and what your package includes. Compare the food, drinks and time you actually want rather than selecting a package solely by its headline price.
Book Maison Mathis through the website or telephone number for your chosen branch. Before submitting a reservation, check the location, date, time and number of guests.
For a group, I would make the seating request specific: an outdoor table if available, an indoor alternative, space for a stroller or a highchair. Ask whether that request is confirmed or simply noted.
If conversation is the priority, ask about entertainment during your booking. If you are organising a celebration, discuss cake arrangements and any related charges beforehand.
IHG describes the Palm restaurant’s dress code as casual. A detailed current dress policy for Arabian Ranches was not confirmed for this guide.
Review any cancellation, deposit or table-duration terms shown during booking. Keep the confirmation accessible, particularly when your group has requested a package or particular seating arrangement.
The Maison Mathis menus use dietary labels, including vegetarian and vegan markers. These help narrow the choices, but ingredients still matter when selecting a dish or requesting a substitution.
Some cooked breakfasts offer a pork or halal choice. Pork also appears elsewhere on the menus, so it would be inaccurate to describe the entire restaurant as a halal venue. Specify the version you want when ordering.
Check sauces and cooking ingredients too. The Arabian Ranches Belgian beef stew is described as prepared with beer, which may affect whether it suits your preferences.
For allergies or strict dietary requirements, explain what you need the kitchen to avoid and ask about preparation and cross-contact. A gluten-free option does not by itself establish a kitchen free from gluten.
For a family visit, start with the meal and seating your children need. The Palm’s published brunch package provides a defined option for ages 6–12, but it does not establish supervised entertainment or childcare.
At Arabian Ranches, ask about current play facilities, their suitability for your child’s age and whether your table can be positioned nearby. Confirm highchairs rather than assuming availability on arrival.
For guests with mobility requirements, IHG lists restaurant ramp access and accessible restaurant seating at the Palm hotel. Describe the route and seating arrangement you need when booking, including any terrace preference.
Pet arrangements also need a restaurant-specific answer. A hotel accepting pets for overnight stays does not automatically establish permission in its restaurant or on its terrace. Call the chosen branch before bringing an animal and explain where you hope to sit.
Use “Maison Mathis Arabian Ranches Golf Club” when arranging your journey. Check the destination pin against the restaurant’s own directions and send the same location to anyone meeting you.
For a first visit, allow time to find the restaurant entrance. If arriving by taxi, confirm a practical pickup point for the return trip.
For the Palm branch, use “Maison Mathis, voco Dubai The Palm.” A generic Palm Jumeirah destination is not precise enough for a restaurant booking.
If using public transport, check the current route for your visit date and include the final connection to the restaurant. My guide to getting around Dubai as a tourist explains how to compare transport options.
The Palm hotel lists visitor parking, but its published wording does not clearly settle every restaurant-only valet or validation condition. Ask which parking area to use, whether dining validates parking and what happens if you stay longer.
Current restaurant parking terms at Arabian Ranches were not confirmed for this update. My free parking in Dubai guide explains why public-parking rules and private facilities need separate checks.
If you want beach time with your meal, ask about the required access package. A restaurant table reservation does not establish access to hotel pools, sunbeds or other beach facilities.
They are separate branches of the same restaurant brand. Arabian Ranches is at the golf club, while the Palm branch is inside voco Dubai The Palm. Use the correct branch’s menu, booking details and offers.
Do not assume all-day breakfast. IHG lists Palm breakfast from 7am to 11am daily. A current Arabian Ranches breakfast cut-off was not confirmed in the primary sources checked, so contact that branch before planning a late breakfast.
Families can consider both branches, but confirm the facilities and seating you need. The Palm advertises a Saturday brunch package for ages 6–12. Ask about younger children, highchairs and any play facilities before booking.
Do not assume beach or pool access is included with a Palm restaurant booking. Ask the hotel about any separate package and which facilities it covers. The Arabian Ranches branch is located at the golf club.
I would choose Arabian Ranches for a meal planned around that location, and the Palm branch when staying nearby or arranging a Palm West Beach outing.
For either Maison Mathis venue, my next steps would be the same: choose the meal, calculate the food-and-drink total and reserve suitable seating. Confirm the details that could change your day, especially breakfast availability, children’s needs and parking, before setting off.
