The next Dubai Flea Market is on Saturday 3 October 2026 at Zabeel Park, running 4pm to 10pm, with an indoor edition at Reef Mall on Sunday 4 October from 10am to 6pm. Visitor entry is free at both; at Zabeel you only pay the AED 5 park gate fee. November and December dates have not been announced yet. Sellers book stalls online from AED 295 plus VAT.
The Dubai Flea Market is a second-hand community market, launched in Dubai in 2007 by German expat Melanie Beese, that rotates between parks and indoor venues across the city. This post gives you the confirmed 2026 schedule, what entry really costs, how stall booking works, and the practical tips that matter for buyers and sellers. If you are planning the wider trip, start with our Dubai travel guide.

The organiser lists each market as a separate dated event rather than a fixed monthly slot. When we checked the official events calendar on 29 September 2026, two October dates were confirmed and nothing was listed for November or December.
| Date | Venue | Market timings | Visitor entry |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saturday 3 October 2026 | Zabeel Park, Gates 1 and 2 (outdoor, evening) | 4pm to 10pm | Free; AED 5 Zabeel Park gate fee |
| Sunday 4 October 2026 | Reef Mall, Deira (indoor, air-conditioned) | 10am to 6pm | Free |
| November 2026 | Not yet announced (checked 29 September 2026) | To be confirmed | To be confirmed |
| December 2026 | Not yet announced (checked 29 September 2026) | To be confirmed | To be confirmed |
Dates are usually confirmed a few weeks in advance, so check the official Dubai Flea Market events calendar before you plan a specific weekend.
One thing that has changed: older guides describe a fixed pattern, such as the first Saturday of the month at Zabeel Park. The organiser no longer works that way. The October listings pair a Saturday evening at Zabeel Park with a Sunday indoor edition at Reef Mall, and past seasons have also used Discovery Gardens and Al Barsha Pond Park. Treat any undated “monthly” claim in an old guide as stale and check the calendar instead.
Entry to the market itself is free. The AED 5 figure that appears in several guides is Zabeel Park’s own gate fee, which the park charges every visitor on every day, market or not. At Reef Mall there is no gate fee at all, so the indoor edition costs nothing to walk into.
| Visitor or seller | What you pay |
|---|---|
| Visitor, Zabeel Park edition | AED 5 park gate fee |
| Visitor, Reef Mall indoor edition | Nothing |
| Family of four, Zabeel Park edition | AED 20 in park gate fees |
| Seller, Zabeel Park edition | AED 309.75 per stall (AED 295 + 5% VAT) |
| Seller, Reef Mall indoor edition | AED 336 per stall (AED 320 + 5% VAT) |
The maths on the stall: the official booking page lists AED 295 plus VAT for the outdoor Zabeel edition, which comes to AED 309.75 with the UAE’s 5% VAT. The indoor Reef Mall edition is listed at AED 320 plus VAT, which comes to AED 336. Visitor entry stays free in both cases; only the park gate applies at Zabeel.

Anyone can book a stall: the market is built for private individuals clearing out wardrobes, toy boxes and storerooms, plus sellers of handmade crafts. New commercial stock is not allowed, and the organiser states the rule plainly on the booking page: second hand and crafts only.
Booking is done online through the official site:
The booking fee covers one table with a cover, two chairs and a gazebo with lights, according to the official event listing.

The organiser’s vendor terms prohibit food without a special permit, counterfeit goods, religious symbols, undergarments, cosmetics and perfumes. New, mass-produced retail items are also barred; the market is for pre-loved and handmade goods. If you need to cancel, the organiser’s terms allow a refund minus an AED 15 processing fee when you cancel at least 48 hours before the event; confirm the current terms when you book, as they can change.
Three things make selling smoother. Bring a second person: the organiser recommends at least two people per stall so one of you can watch the table while the other takes a break. Price items clearly with tags, because labelled tables get more browsers to stop. And bring small change and bags for buyers, since most sales are cash and few stalls hand out carrier bags.

For the Zabeel Park edition, take the Red Line to Max station (formerly Al Jafiliya). Gate 1 is the shortest walk from the metro, and the market itself uses Gates 1 and 2. By taxi or ride-hailing app, set your destination pin to “Zabeel Park Gate 1” to avoid a long walk from the wrong entrance.
The Reef Mall edition is indoors in Deira, on Salah Al Din Road near Salah Al Din metro station on the Green Line, so it works well as a midday stop combined with the surrounding neighbourhood. Plan the trip on the day with the RTA journey planner rather than copying a bus number from an old guide.
If you drive to Zabeel Park, the park has its own car parks near the gates; check the displayed terms on arrival, since park parking and public street parking follow different rules. If you are staying over for a market weekend, our where to stay in Dubai guide compares the best areas.
| What you will read | What is accurate |
|---|---|
| “Entry costs AED 5 per person” | The market is free to enter. AED 5 is Zabeel Park’s gate fee, charged to every park visitor on any day. Reef Mall entry is completely free. |
| “The market runs every weekend at Zabeel Park” | It rotates venues. The confirmed October 2026 dates are Zabeel Park on Saturday 3 October and Reef Mall on Sunday 4 October. November and December were not listed when checked on 29 September 2026. |
| “AED 295 is the entry fee” | AED 295 plus VAT is the seller’s stall booking price (AED 309.75 with VAT), not what visitors pay. |
| “Stalls cost Dhs290” | That is an old price. The current official price is AED 295 + VAT for outdoor editions and AED 320 + VAT for indoor editions. |
| “The best time to go is 8am to 11am” | The confirmed October editions run 4pm to 10pm (evening) and 10am to 6pm (indoor). Go at opening for the best finds; go in the final hour for the best prices. |
| “Entrance is Dhs6” | Outdated. Current: free at Reef Mall, AED 5 park gate at Zabeel. |
If you enjoy second-hand hunting, yes. The Zabeel Park evening edition is a relaxed Saturday night out: free to enter, easy to reach by metro, and the stalls turn over fast enough that two visits a month apart feel different. Pair it with dinner afterwards in nearby Karama; our Karama Dubai guide covers the area’s affordable restaurants.
It is less worth a special cross-city trip if you only want cheap clothes and have limited time; the selection depends entirely on which sellers booked that week, so there are quiet editions. For tourists, the Reef Mall indoor edition is the easier add-on: free entry, air conditioning, and a Deira location that fits a heritage-side day. Either way, check the official calendar the week before you go, because dates and venues move.
Yes. There is no ticket or entry charge for the market itself. If the edition is at Zabeel Park, you pay the park’s standard AED 5 gate fee, which applies to every park visitor whether the market is on or not. Indoor editions, such as the one at Reef Mall, are completely free to walk into.
The next confirmed markets are Saturday 3 October 2026 at Zabeel Park (4pm to 10pm) and Sunday 4 October 2026 at Reef Mall in Deira (10am to 6pm). When we checked the official events calendar on 29 September 2026, no dates were listed for November or December 2026. Dates are usually confirmed a few weeks ahead, so check the official calendar before planning.
It depends on the venue. Outdoor evening editions, such as the one at Zabeel Park on 3 October 2026, run 4pm to 10pm. Indoor editions, such as Reef Mall on 4 October 2026, run 10am to 6pm. Seller set-up is 2pm to 4pm before the evening markets. Timings are set per event on the official calendar, so confirm the specific date you plan to visit.
The official booking price is AED 295 plus 5% VAT (AED 309.75) for outdoor editions such as Zabeel Park, and AED 320 plus VAT (AED 336) for indoor editions such as Reef Mall. The fee includes a table with cover, two chairs and a gazebo with lights. Booking and payment are done online through the official site.
The market is designed for private individuals selling their own second-hand household items, and stall booking is done online by anyone. The organiser’s rules require pre-loved or handmade goods only; new commercial stock, counterfeit goods, food without a permit, cosmetics and perfumes are prohibited. Check the current vendor terms on the official site before booking.
Yes, bargaining is expected and part of the experience. Most sellers price with some room to negotiate. A friendly approach works best: show genuine interest in the item, then make a polite offer. You will usually get further with conversation than with a hard push, and prices often soften in the final hour of the market.
