Twenty new restaurants in Dubai opened in 2026 or are confirmed to open before year-end: Gymkhana started serving in DIFC on 1 September, NESTT opened its family dining room in Al Quoz on 4 October, and two Yannick Alléno venues open at One&Only The Palm on 19 October. Every venue below had its status verified this week, with price per head wherever published. Checked Tuesday 13 October 2026.

This list treats new restaurants in Dubai as genuinely new venues that opened in 2026 or are publicly confirmed for the rest of the year. Reopenings and second branches are left out. You get two tables: what you can book tonight and what is still to come, then one pick per occasion. Planning a trip around them? Start with our Dubai travel guide.

Prices at these new restaurants in Dubai are in AED as listed at source. Dubai restaurant menus normally include 5% VAT, so what you see is what you pay.

New Restaurants in Dubai That Are Open Now

DIFC holds the biggest cluster of new restaurants in Dubai this year, with Gymkhana, Nobu One Za’abeel and Barrafina all inside a short walk of one another.

Gymkhana is the two-Michelin-starred London Indian restaurant’s first UAE outpost, opened on Tuesday 1 September 2026 at Gate Village 7. The room seats 137 across two levels around a peacock bar. The tasting menu is AED 695 per person (AED 595 vegetarian); the business lunch at AED 145 starts Wednesday 21 October, 12pm to 2.30pm last sitting. Dinner runs daily 6.30pm to 1am, bookings through SevenRooms.

Nobu One Za’abeel sits 230 metres up in The Link, the sky bridge joining the two One Za’abeel towers, and opened on Saturday 17 January 2026. Dinner runs to about AED 500 or more per person; the three-course weekend lunch is AED 159, Friday to Sunday, 12pm to 3.30pm. Book 3 to 4 weeks ahead and ask for a window seat on Nobu’s official reservations page.

Barrafina DIFC brought London’s Spanish tapas counter to Gate Village 1 on Monday 26 January 2026, its first address outside the UK. The counter stays walk-in; the dining room books online. Expect AED 200 to AED 450 per person, open 12pm to 12am daily.

Downtown Dubai and JBR

Yù & Mì is a 36th-floor Cantonese and Sichuan bar-restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai. The signature is a two-course Peking duck ritual: AED 298 for half, AED 588 for the whole bird. Dinner runs 6pm to 11pm, Wednesday to Sunday; the bar opens at 5pm. Check Yù & Mì’s official page for hours and the Visit Dubai listing for an overview.

Le Guilan is a Persian restaurant in Downtown Dubai with 20th-century manor-house interiors, opened in September 2026. Open daily 8am to 11pm; prices not yet published.

Pepe Cucina is a neighbourhood Italian at Address Beach Resort, JBR, with wood-fired dishes and handmade pasta. Opened in September 2026 with a Saturday brunch, a games bar and a children’s area.

Al Quoz and JLT

Window is a live-fire restaurant at Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz, from the group behind Kokoro Handroll Bar. One of the quieter new restaurants in Dubai, it opened in January 2026 with a tasting menu at AED 280 to AED 480 per person.

NESTT opened on Sunday 4 October 2026 at Q East by Alphabeta, Al Quoz, making it the newest of the new restaurants in Dubai verified here: an 11,000 sq ft family destination pairing a Euro-Mediterranean café (8am to 8pm) with a nature-inspired indoor playground for ages 0 to 8. Play costs AED 90 for ages 0 to 3 and AED 110 for ages 3 to 8. For a proper grown-up coffee nearby, see our best coffee shops in Dubai roundup.

Noren is a Japanese sushi counter and grill at Pullman Dubai, Cluster T, JLT, one of several new restaurants in Dubai that opened in September 2026. Open daily 6pm to 11.30pm; prices not yet published.

Uptown Dubai

Rocambolesco is an Italian restaurant at Uptown Dubai led by a Michelin Young Chef winner. It opened in September 2026, one of the Italian-led new restaurants in Dubai this year. Prices not yet published.

That is the bookable list of new restaurants in Dubai. The restaurants opened in Dubai in 2026 so far will be joined by ten more before December.

New Restaurants in Dubai Still to Come in 2026

The biggest of the new restaurants in Dubai still to come land on the same Monday: 19 October brings two Yannick Alléno venues to One&Only The Palm.

L’Abysse is Alléno’s 34-seat French-Japanese omakase: a ten-seat sushi counter with chef Ken Ishihata, a 13-sequence menu and a private dining room. It opens on Monday 19 October 2026, and reservations are already being taken.

Casea 101 by Yannick Alléno opens the same day: waterfront Italian coastal cooking at One&Only The Palm, with seafood towers, crudos, the seasonal catch cooked over fire and pizzas from an open kitchen.

Nayara brings Levantine cooking to One&Only Royal Mirage, scheduled for October 2026; the exact date and full menu are still to be announced.

ROKA The Palm is the robatayaki brand’s second Dubai address, on the rooftop of Six Senses The Palm. Expected in 2026; the date is not yet confirmed.

The Magic Table is an immersive magic-dining residency at Andaz Dubai The Palm, opening in December 2026 for a six-month run.

Le Café LPM is a casual all-day French café at Huna Living, Al Wasl, with breakfast, lighter daytime plates, evening dishes and a pâtisserie selection. Opening October 2026, one of the last new restaurants in Dubai to open this month. Meanwhile, Maison Mathis is another French address in Dubai worth a look.

LPM-Sur-Mer is the brand’s first beachfront concept, at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, bringing French-Mediterranean cooking to a seaside setting. It opens in November 2026.

The Black Horse is a British gastropub from the team behind The Black Sheep, at The Onyx Tower 2 in The Greens. Opening October 2026, with British comfort food, live music and sport.

Hikiniku To Come is Tokyo’s cult Wagyu Hamburg concept at CMPLX, Al Quoz, using 100% Halal-certified Wagyu. Announced for September 2026, but no confirmed opening had been reported as of 13 October 2026, so it is the least certain of the new restaurants in Dubai listed here: check before going.

Duck & Rice, Alan Yau’s British pub with a Cantonese kitchen, is announced for DIFC Square, its first venue outside London. The opening date is not yet confirmed.

Hikiniku To Come was announced for September 2026, but no confirmed opening had been reported as of 13 October 2026, so treat it as delayed rather than done. TATTU at Ciel Dubai Marina, Tapasake at One Za’abeel, Lion in the Sun, Ninive and Hakkasan at Atlantis are reopenings or seasonal returns, not new openings. Zuma Beach House and Cipriani Lido are 2027 openings, outside this list’s scope. Crazy Horse at Zabeel Theatre is a cabaret show with a dinner option, not a restaurant.

Which new Dubai restaurants need to be booked ahead?

ROKA The Palm, Le Café LPM, The Black Horse, Nayara and Duck & Rice are all announced without firm dates.

Are there new affordable restaurants in Dubai?

Not many among the verified new restaurants in Dubai: most of 2026’s confirmed new venues sit in the mid to high range. The best value plays are the lunch deals, Gymkhana’s AED 145 business lunch and Nobu One Za’abeel’s AED 159 weekend lunch, plus the walk-in counter at Barrafina.

This list of new restaurants in Dubai is re-checked monthly; the next refresh is due 13 November 2026.
