Skydive Dubai is the UAE’s best-known tandem skydiving operator, with two drop zones: the Palm Drop Zone near Dubai Marina, famous for jumps over Palm Jumeirah, and the Desert Campus on the Al Ain–Dubai Road. Tandem jumps are the standard option for first-timers — you are harnessed to a certified instructor who manages the freefall and parachute.

Prices, eligibility rules and operating days change, so this guide uses the operator’s current published figures, checked on 29 September 2026. Always confirm on the official Skydive Dubai website before paying, because the site notes that prices can vary by season.

Skydive Dubai Tandem Prices (Checked 29 September 2026)

Drop zoneCurrent tandem priceWhat’s included
Palm Drop ZoneAED 2,749Tandem jump from up to 13,000 ft, pre-jump briefing and training, standard edited video + photos (delivered within 48 hours), medical insurance
Desert CampusAED 2,199Tandem jump, briefing and training; the operator’s FAQ states the standard tandem package includes video, photos and insurance

Prices are published in AED on the official booking pages. The operator states that prices and fees can vary depending on the season, so treat these as the current published figures, not a permanent guarantee.

Optional add-ons at the Palm: a social-media highlight edit and a wrist-camera selfie view are offered at extra cost — the official page does not publish fixed AED amounts for these, so check at booking. A same-day “priority slot” at the Palm costs an extra AED 700 on top of the tandem price; a first-come, first-served Palm waitlist carries a AED 300 walk-in booking fee.

Gyrocopter flights: from AED 1,199 for a 20-minute flight up to 1,500 ft along the Dubai Marina coastline. Minimum age 17; maximum weight under 105 kg (under 100 kg in June–August); not suitable during pregnancy. Note: the operator’s contact page currently lists the Gyrocopter as temporarily closed — confirm availability before planning around it.

Palm Drop Zone vs Desert Campus: Which Should You Choose?

Choose the Palm for the iconic coastline views; choose the Desert Campus for the lower price and dune scenery. Because the Desert Campus is currently shown as temporarily closed while desert bookings are still listed for sale, confirm with the operator that your desert date is actually operating before you pay.

How to Book a Skydive Dubai Tandem Jump

Book on the official website only reservations are made through the live booking calendar on skydivedubai.ae. Walk-ins are generally not accepted, except via the Palm waitlist described above.

Book 1–3 months ahead. The operator says tandem slots can typically be booked one to three months in advance, and peak-season dates fill quickly.

If you are visiting Dubai, book for the first half of your trip. Jumps are weather-dependent; an early date leaves room to reschedule if wind or visibility cancels your slot.

Complete the online forms and waiver before arrival, and bring photo ID.

Arrive on time for the briefing. You will be weighed at check-in (in shoes and clothes), so the weight and BMI limits below are enforced, not advisory.

Pre-Payment Checklist

  • Your age is 18–75 on jump day (70–75 needs a doctor-signed Declaration of Fitness — see below).
  • You meet the weight/BMI limits for your drop zone (female: 90 kg or less and BMI 27.5 or less; male: 100 kg or less and BMI 30.0 or less).
  • No alcohol or drugs in the 24 hours before the jump; no scuba diving in the 24 hours before the jump.
  • You have disclosed any listed medical condition (heart/lung disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes, mental illness, blackouts, dislocated shoulder/limbs, pregnancy) and, where required, hold a Declaration of Fitness signed and stamped by a doctor.
  • You understand the cancellation terms: full refund only if you cancel by email at least 24 hours ahead (info@skydivedubai.ae for the Palm, school@skydivedubai.ae for the Desert Campus). Cancellations or reschedules under 24 hours incur a penalty equal to the cost of the jump.
  • You accept that weather cancellations allow a reschedule or refund of the jump, but the operator accepts no liability for related travel or accommodation costs.

Eligibility: Age, Weight and Medical Rules

RequirementRule
Age18–75 years on the day of the jump. Ages 70–75 must bring a Declaration of Fitness form signed and stamped by a doctor.
Weight / BMI (female)90 kg or less, and BMI 27.5 or less
Weight / BMI (male)100 kg or less, and BMI 30.0 or less
MedicalListed conditions (heart/lung disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes, mental illness, recurrent blackouts, dislocated shoulder/limbs, past or present conditions) require the doctor-signed Declaration of Fitness. Prosthetic-limb users must contact reservations before booking.
OtherNo alcohol/drugs or scuba diving within 24 hours; not advised while pregnant; all participants sign a waiver.

Failing the age, weight or BMI requirements on the day means no jump and no refund, so check these before you pay.

Cancellation, Rescheduling and Weather Policy

Reschedule: use the “Manage Booking” link in your confirmation email, or email the operator, at least 24 hours before your booking time.

Cancel for a full refund: email at least 24 hours in advance — info@skydivedubai.ae (Palm) or school@skydivedubai.ae (Desert Campus).

Under 24 hours: cancellations and reschedules incur a penalty equal to the cost of the jump.

No refunds for not meeting age/weight/BMI requirements, arriving under the influence, or scuba diving within 24 hours of the jump.

Weather: operations can be paused or cancelled for the day due to wind or visibility. If your jump is cancelled, you may reschedule to the next available date or apply for a refund.

Operating Days and Hours

Palm Drop Zone (Al Seyahi Street, Dubai Marina): Thursday–Monday, 7:00am–11:00am. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

Desert Campus (Al Ain–Dubai Road E66, Margham): currently listed as temporarily closed on the operator’s contact page — confirm before booking a desert date.

Getting to the Drop Zones

The Palm Drop Zone is about 30 minutes by car from Dubai International Airport. The Desert Campus is south of the city on the E66 toward Al Ain. Public transport options to both are limited, so most visitors use taxis or private cars; both sites are signposted from the main roads. For wider Dubai transport planning, see our Dubai public transport guide.

Tips for First-Time Jumpers

Wear comfortable, flexible clothing and sturdy closed shoes. Avoid scarves, loose jewellery or anything that could catch during the jump.

Book early — slots fill weeks ahead in peak season, and an early-trip date protects you against weather rescheduling.

Listen carefully at the briefing. Your instructor will cover body position in freefall and the landing sequence.

Eat and hydrate normally and get a good night’s sleep; avoid alcohol for 24 hours before the jump.

Expect a full morning on site. Jumps run 7:00–11:00am at the Palm, and weather holds can extend your wait.

Bring photo ID and be ready to sign the waiver and disclose any health conditions honestly.
